Treasure Mountain Festival
In 1968, a handful of Pendleton County residents had a vision – to have an annual festival that would share the county’s history and scenic views with others. Today, this event has turned into a celebration featuring live entertainment, a variety of arts and crafts vendors, yummy food, and lots of historic fun!
Blackthorn Lavender will be set-up in the craft barns next to the Main Stage and the bowling alley!

Hardy County Heritage Weekend
Heritage WeekendSept. 28 & 29th, 2024Sat. 9am to 7pm, Sun. 10am to 4pmMoorefield Highschool401 N. Main St.Moorefield, WV.Heritage Weekend is a unique event and is the only countywide festival in West Virginia. Hardy County is seeped in rich American history and this weekend lets us share that history with its citizens. This event started in 1953 with a few good people who opened their homes and gardens as a way to raise money for the Hardy County Public Library. We are still following that tradition.
Each year, a historic home is highlighted by preserving its image on a decorative tile. This tradition was started in 1972 and all the tiles may be seen at the Moorefield Public Library. We are pleased to announce the Tile house for 2024 is the Dodd House in Moorefield.
The Hardy County Tour & Craft Association is thrilled to have the 71th Annual Heritage Weekend this September 27th, 28th, and 29th! Come participate and enjoy the food, music, arts, craft show, car show, home tours, walking tours, civil war encampments, historic church services, luminary service and many other activities that take place throughout Hardy and Grant County.
